It was time to replace my aging HVAC and after getting quotes from several area contractors, I decided on Gulfstream. Their pricing was extremely competitive and this is for Bryant (Carrier by another name) branded equipment vs brands of lesser reputation from other contractors offered at similar prices. The air handler is actually tagged Carrier. Their level of professionalism and knowledge was demonstrated from when they came out for the quote through the entire installation process. The resulting installation was extremely well done and included replacement of my old plywood air handler support with a metal stand and secondary drip pan and leak sensor. They were also very responsive. While there was no rush as the existing system was still operational, they were on site the day after providing a proposal for the installation, completed it within one day, removed all the old equipment and left the house spotless where they had been working. I opted for the RGF Reme air purification upgrade and pretty much immediately after the new system was put in service, an improvement in the air quality was noticed, it is worth the extra money to put this device in, if you ask me. The new equipment was a 2 stage compressor and variable speed air handler and so much quieter than the old system, both inside and outside the home. The variable speed feature is such that you barely know it is on unless is ramps to the highest speeds. If you are needing repairs or replacement to your system and are within the Gulfstream service area, you should give them a call, I think you will be happy that you did.
